The Vesper is the signature drink of James Bond, and has been featured in several of the Ian Fleming novels and films. The drink was invented by Ian Fleming in the 1953 James Bond novel Casino Royale, and named after Bond’s love interest Vesper Lynd. A Vesper cocktail is a cocktail made of gin, vodka, and Lillet Blanc, a French aperitif.
